Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of fourteen. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing wrestling and boxing before her professional debut at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd took advantage of this win and began a 3 fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in all the fights. She then returned to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia was defeated by Aspen in a unanimous vote. This put a stain on her record as an amateur. Ladd recovered from the loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her first professional bout. Aspen dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta took on her in the Bantamweight division and prevailed via armbar submission during the second round. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability defeated McGill as she managed to finish her fight in the third round with a TKO (elbows and strikes). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen dominated Hoy and defeated her in the second round via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina with a pound and grind to her, winning the TKO in the second round. She maintained her dominance, and won another victory over Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd took the win in round one and was awarded the Performance of the Night Bonus. Her first major fight came during her subsequent fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. The two fights were an intense fight which Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters received the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds, putting an end to her win streak. After a break of a few seconds, she returned to finish Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. For a replacement last minute for her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was lost by unanimous vote.
