Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue An. Ellis Taylor, American actor and producer. She received a B.A. in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting at Tisch School at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer who is active in film, theater, and TV. Her acting journey began in theater and later appeared in numerous TV shows and independent as well as mainstream films. The actress was famous for her role in the role of Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) and on BET's massive The Book of Negroes. Both series received major reviews, and she also took home a variety of prizes. She made her professional acting debut with the character Ariel in The Tempest in 1995. The stage credits she has received include the Broadway performance of the Joe Turner musical Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. Film-wise, she's best known for parts like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. The role she played as a regular in the drama series High Incident on ABC High Incident earned her praises.
